(That's actually the third time that Rainbow was called Dashie, all three of them written in by the guy that wrote the episode.
Also, it is almost your birthday. Slots said on the last post before it got capped that you need to get in touch with him since he's going to stream probably today for your birthday, but he's currently out and about and then has to go to work.
Anyway, this episode is interesting. I await to see if they keep continuity at the end with those antics because next week is the games they were at during this episode, if they even show the train scene and such at the end.)

I dunno, either way would be weird. We'd have them dropping off their pets and then going to the Crystal Empire, in a contained bubble, and then have the events before and after the games afterwards, or what we had here, where the leaving and the return are covered, but what happened inside that time frame is next week.
Also the Crystal Empire is super far away and at the same time like a ten minute train ride.)

[I think I like this order of episodes better actually. First they set the continuity, scene for the events. Then show what happened in the timeframe from Spike's perspective. Then the next week we get the actual event.
As for that, they have shown us only parts of the ride, not the whole thing.]

I do. I mean... I suppose you couldn't see it exactly from my viewpoint, though, I guess I can try to explain it... It's like... As your friends get older and older, eventually, they'll start to become more and more distant. They'll make families, have kids, and just, get busier and busier. Though, they're still there. They aren't gone yet. So then there always ends up being this period where I can't bring myself to quite move on, and just leave everyone... Because they're not quite gone yet... Though, they're not really with me anymore. I try to tell myself I'm not alone... Though in reality... I kinda am. It's really hard to just, up and leave everyone. Like, say "You're boring, I'm going to make new friends."... I couldn't do it.

Well... In my situation, it kinda is. ...I don't expect you to understand exactly. But... Well, there are many ways it could go... Like, I'm usually not so open about my powers. In most of my lives, I've usually hid it. I chose an appearance, stayed that way. Change slightly over time, as if aging normally. Things are usually fine. Though the breaking point is when people start having families. Everypony just has to have a family... Everypony wants a "special somepony", everpony wants kids... Though I don't do that. It doesn't work the same for me. And I can't just "become young again". Everyone would notice! ...I'd be lying though if I said I never had a family. Sometimes, I became complacent. Went with the flow, met someone! Had a foal or two. I don't always remember what happened, though... It doesn't often end up well. Eventually, and inevitably, someone will realize I'm not like other ponies. Why doesn't she die? How did he survive that accident? And if I manage to make it through an entire lifetime, at some point I'd just have to fake my death or something... Which is so... so hard...
